Argentine President Cristina Fernandez's government encourages the new law, which allows Muslim women to wear the hijab in public places, the Press TV correspondent in Buenos Aires reported on Tuesday (25/1).
It is said that the new law can help promote freedom of religion and expression in Latin American countries and will help the Muslim community to better integrate into society Argentina.
